Welcome to Little Nordic Sol

Little Nordic Sol is a family-run studio creating beautiful linen pieces for little dreamers - and the spaces they grow in.

Born from a shared love of creating and curating, we’re two cousins (basically sisters) with a lifelong obsession with shopping, interiors and anything that turns a house into a home. What began as a passion project designing thoughtful, natural linen homewares for children’s rooms has grown into something a little bigger, a little brighter.

Inspired by the calming imperfection of Wabi-Sabi and the timeless simplicity of Nordic design, our collections now span both tablescaping and light. From embroidered linen placemats that bring softness, story and artistry to the table, to sculptural linen light shades that gently glow rather than shout, each piece is designed to feel effortless, organic and deeply considered.

Our linen placemats are made to be lived with - layered for everyday meals, special gatherings and moments that deserve a little beauty. Thoughtfully embroidered and crafted in small batches, they celebrate texture, imperfection and the joy of slowing down around the table.

Our newest chapter is all about light. Handmade linen light shades, created using natural and organic linens chosen for their warmth and quiet beauty, bring a soft, sculptural presence to any space.

We know rental life well, which is why we created our Sol Swag System - a renter-friendly, tool-free way to hang and swag your new light with ease. Everything you need is bundled into one simple solution, because beautiful design should always feel accessible.

At the heart of Little Nordic Sol is a belief that home should feel like your favourite place in the world - no matter your age or postcode. Our designs are made to add joy, calm and a little magic to everyday living, from children’s rooms and family tables to your own quiet corners.

We’re proud to be a small, family-led business with a big love for the details. Every piece is carefully considered, responsibly made and created in small batches. Nothing mass-produced, nothing throwaway - just beautiful, lasting pieces you’ll want to keep around.
